The MEINL 30TH Anniversary String Cajon features an
exotic Bubinga frontplate and two new innovations: The frontplate is ergonomically
curved for maximum comfort and sound development, and the string mute system
gives your sound extra precision and control. The Bubinga frontplate is a rich
and beautiful reddish coloured African wood. Resonating
body: Rubber Wood (Hevea brasiliensis Muell.-Arg.)

Snare Cajons
To equip a cajon with fully adjustable snare wires is
an original MEINL innovation and proves yet again MEINL's leading R/D status
in the worldwide percussion scene. The snares touch the frontplate from the
inside and deliver the classical cajon sound, which is requisite in Flamenco
music. A knurled knob adjusts the amount of pressure used to press the snare
wires against the frontplate. Rattling ranging between light and sensitive to
very loud can be achieved through adjustment. The entire snare unit can even
be turned off completely.
String Cajons
MEINL Cajons feature a built in adjustable sizzle effect. Strings
which touch the frontplate on the inside and span from top to bottom, deliver
a sensitive rattle that can be adjusted to fit various musical applications.
The patented integrated string mute system controls the tension of the strings
and ensures a dry and crisp sizzle effect. The MEINL String Cajons come bundled
with the Professional Cajon Bag
The MEINL Pickup Cajons
are equipped with the DST pickup microphone and the A1.2 preamp system with
volume control from B-Band ®. This active system includes a specially designed
preamp, high quality endpin output jack and a durable battery. The structure
is light in mass adding very little weight to the instrument. The sound reproduction
is amazingly pure and clear. This installed microphone system provides comfortable
and easy handling in live situations. Plug in and play.

Elite Series Box Cajon Elite Series Box Cajon represents an entirely new concept for Box Cajons. We have taken a traditional Spanish style design and incorporated four tunable strings inside the drum which rest against the playing surface. This adds a great new depth and presence to the overall sound never before available with existing Box Cajons. The instrument is played on the top of the box facing forward. The the top right and left corners of the face plate are played with the Pearl logo designating the strinking location for maximum bass response. The rear sound hole mixes the internal sound with the attack of the face plate. Four individually tunable strings act as snares across the face plate offering a wide of tone response.
